Mostly the footage was of shrews, but there were some unexpected appearances from a pet cat, pet dog and members of the WMIL team! These camera traps have been an important tool to discover which species of wildlife are around the monitoring wax and tunnels. The children are now taking on the 'spy' duties and will let Project Manager Jaclyn Pearson, or any adult know if they see a sign of a rat in order to keep the islands 'rat-free'.
