Manx shearwaters and storm petrels have not bred on Rathlin since the 1990's, so a rat removal project would hopefully restore these populations. Jaclyn met with RSPB wardens and residents to discuss the work of the Isles of Scilly Project so far. Thanks to your hospitality for the day and a restoration project to protect the amazing breeding colonies of thousands of seabirds on the Rathlin cliffs would certainly be a worth-while project for the community and visitors in the future.
