Seabird Ambassadors help get St Agnes 'rat removal ready'

The team of 'Seabird Ambassadors' joining us on St Agnes and Gugh were a real mix of islanders, visitors and the men and women of RNAS 824 squadron. We made a massive contribution to getting the island 'rat removal ready', collecting over one hundred bags of waste plus bulky items of metal and wood. Removing sources of food and bedding for rats means that the baiting removal operation will be that much more effective. Our thanks to the Council of the Isles of Scilly for covering the cost of waste removal.
