Project Officer Lydia and Project Assistant Holly continue to collect rat data from Tresco, St Martin's and St Helen's. On these islands we want to understand more about rats preference for monitoring tools (which flavour wax they prefer, so far each islands rats have different tastes, but chocolate is often a winner) and which style of monitoring box they are least and most wary of. This phase of the filed work will end in March when the Manx shearwaters return to their burrows.
