Biz provided a powerpoint presentation which summarised the IOSSRP work to date and what would be expected of us if an incursion of rats took place. Biz also left us with a “tool kit” and during the workshop we covered a wide range of issues from rodent identification, behaviour and ecology for the main species, options for targeting these and the reporting protocols to site inspection protocols, response and reporting protocols.

After the workshop, I spoke to the participants and all felt it had been very worthwhile and pitched at just the right level – in a very professional manner – and all now felt confident to be called upon if needed in the future.
