Today the project delivered games and seabird activities as part of St Agnes fete. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who delivered all the arts and crafts.

The project delivered seabird activities to Five Islands school today, as part of their 'activity week'

Five Islands school takes the 'seabird coin game' to the Blue Parade - a celebration of marine life. 

Five Islands Secondary School Design and Technology class have designed and created a game for the upcomimg summer fetes to raise money for the project. 

Volunteers Sarah Havery and Olly Watts have assisted the project for the past two weeks. Olly also assisted back in May and Sarah for 4 months in winter! We hope they will come and join us again as they have done a fantastic job - taking on the role of team leaders for the ecological monitoring, biosecurity, and community engagment work. Thank you both! 

13 wonderful volunteers analysed the contents of over 220 pitfalls today. They sorted and identified insects (at genus level) as part of the ecological monitoring work the project is doing to further understand if there are any effects of rat removal on insect abundance. They did a great job and believe it or not - enjoyed it!
